‘George Osborne’s own deputy has warned of “spine-chilling” welfare cuts if the Tories win the election.
Working families, poverty-stricken kids and the disabled will be hammered by the Chancellor’s £12billion welfare axe, Treasury Secretary Danny Alexander said.
The likely impact would be 300,000 children cast into poverty, the Lib Dem told the Mirror.
And he warned many working families would be lose almost £1,500 a year.’
